Own the Right Home
Your injury may require things that you can’t get in your current home. Many need an entirely different setup for their kitchen, bedroom, or bathroom. Or a home without stairs.
The location might not put you close enough to doctors or public transportation. Moving may be the best way to get what you need.
Your settlement can make a move possible, but it can also eat up funds you need for everything else. Often, the right real estate agent can help you get what you need.
We can help you find the right one, negotiate the right mortgage, and set a budget that will work for you in the long term.
Here are some questions you should be asking:
What do I really need in a home?
Does it need special accessibility features?
How close must it be to medical providers?
How close must it be to medical providers?
How close should I live to my family?
Will some cities or states provide more benefits?
How do I find a good real estate agent?
How do I know if my agent is “good enough”?
Should I negotiate the agent’s commission?
How large of a down payment should I make?
What interest rate is reasonable for a mortgage?
