Planning for Your Whole Life
You probably had a plan for your future. Your injury has changed those plans. It’s time to start thinking about what your new future looks like and what needs you’ll need to meet.
You may need to change where you will live, decide whether you can continue to work, and what you want from relationships with friends and family. We can help you identify your future needs and start planning for them.
Some needs you’ve already planned for. We’ll help with the rest.
Here are some questions you should be asking:
What do I want my life to look like in ten years?
Can I or do I want to continue to work?
What housing and support do I need?
Who will I need to interact with?
Who will I depend on?
What will I want nearby?
How confident am I that I know what I want?
How do I better identify what I’ll need?
How do I know if I’m missing something big?
How much will my settlement pay for?
What government benefits can I count on?
